All ceramic items are microwave and dishwasher-safe. Any piece that has an exposed clay body (the outside surface is not covered in a glaze) has been sealed with Liquid Quartz Ceramic Coating
to ensure it is food-safe and stain-resistant.

Pottery is durable and can withstand high heat, however one thing ceramics (handmade or industrial) doesn’t like is thermal shock. i.e. Don’t take a piece out of a steaming dishwasher cycle and put in any extremely cold environment OR take a ice cold piece and put in the microwave. Basically, be gentle and slow with temperature shifts.

Though this pottery is dishwasher safe, frequent cycles can lead to bumps and bruises. Regular dishwasher use may shorten their lifespan from knocking into other items leading to chips or cracks. I encourage handwashing for anyone who wants to be extra precious with their ceramic object.
